Anant Raj Cloud Signs MoU with Spain's Submer Technologies to Develop AI-Ready Data Centres Across India

Strategic Partnership Positions Anant Raj Cloud for High-Density AI Computing

On February 8, 2026, Anant Raj Limited's digital infrastructure arm, Anant Raj Cloud, signed a memorandum of understanding with Spain-based Submer Technologies at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. The partnership aims to accelerate deployment of advanced data centre infrastructure designed for India's growing artificial intelligence and enterprise computing demands.

Technology and Architecture

The collaboration will pursue deployment of modular, high-density data centre facilities equipped to handle intensive AI and enterprise workloads, combining advanced modular design with liquid-cooling technology to deliver energy-efficient infrastructure suited for sovereign and commercial AI computing at scale.

Submer's cooling system works by cooling data centre server units in modular tanks filled with a biodegradable electrically non-conductive liquid which absorbs heat and dissipates it through heat exchangers for efficient reuse. The technology uses 50% less energy, 99% less water and 85% less real estate than traditional cooling methods.

Under the agreement, Submer's affiliated platform InferX will provide neocloud and inference capabilities, enabling customers to access high-density GPU infrastructure through a unified framework aligned with India's data sovereignty requirements.

Initial Deployment Locations

The partnership will initially focus on Anant Raj's existing campuses in Manesar and Panchkula, Haryana. Both locations already form part of the company's established infrastructure footprint. Anant Raj Limited is expanding its data centre operations with the addition of 22 MW of IT load capacity at its Manesar and Panchkula campuses, bringing the company's total installed data centre capacity to 28 MW inclusive of cloud services.

The Panchkula Data Centre, operated by Anant Raj Cloud, is strategically located in Sector 22, Haryana, and has been retrofitted from an existing 10-acre IT park, providing a robust operational foundation with Tier-III engineered infrastructure designed to support significant future expansion.

Broader Context and India's Infrastructure Ambitions

The MoU comes amid India's broader push to scale domestic data centre capacity and digital infrastructure as enterprises and cloud providers expand their presence in the country. This move comes amid policy emphasis in the Union Budget 2026–27 on strengthening India's artificial intelligence and semiconductor ecosystem.

The partnership forms part of Anant Raj's "Bharat Built: Soil to Server" initiative, an ambitious plan to deliver 310 MW of data centre capacity nationwide by 2032, supported by a proposed investment of ₹180 billion (approximately USD 2.1 billion).

Developer Perspective and Leadership

Amit Sarin, Managing Director of Anant Raj Limited, stated that rapid growth in AI workloads requires new approaches to data centre design and deployment. Patrick Smets, Chief Executive Officer of Submer, said combining Submer's technology with Anant Raj's footprint will accelerate the deployment of AI-ready compute capacity in India.

With campuses in Manesar and Panchkula, Haryana, Anant Raj is expanding from traditional colocation and cloud services into utility-grade AI infrastructure designed for high-density, GPU-intensive workloads.

About Anant Raj Limited

For over five decades, Anant Raj has moved from stewardship of land to shaping skylines and nurturing communities. Since 1969, Anant Raj Limited has built an industry standard for both quality construction and ethical business methods. Throughout this time Anant Raj Limited built about 30,000 homes through various projects spanning Delhi and NCR. The company has expanded beyond residential development into commercial, IT parks, and—increasingly—digital infrastructure.

About Submer Technologies

Founded in Barcelona in 2015, Submer has developed a patented immersion cooling technology as an alternative to air-based cooling systems which are currently the dominant solution for data centres around the world. With 10 years of innovation, 300MW in motion, and hundreds more planned across Europe, Submer has an established track record in immersion cooling deployment.
