Founded in 1969 and headquartered in New Delhi, Anant Raj Limited takes its name from its founding patrons — Lala Anant Ram Sarin and Smt. Raj Kumari Sarin — a provenance that signals the values the company has upheld across more than five decades: permanence, integrity, and measured growth. The group began as a contractor for major government bodies, including the Delhi Development Authority, Military Engineer Services, Public Works Department, and CPWD, delivering nearly 30,000 homes in Rohini, East of Kailash, Sheikh Sarai, Katwaria Sarai, and the iconic Asiad Village Complex between 1969 and 1990. That institutional foundation shaped a discipline toward quality and execution that runs through every subsequent chapter of the business.

Anant Raj operates on three founding principles instilled by its chairman: location, permission, and execution. The company does not chase land at any cost; it holds one of the most extensive freehold land portfolios in the Delhi NCR region — approximately 300 acres across prime locations including Golf Course Extension Road in Gurugram and parcels in South Delhi. Its policy of retaining rather than selling commercial properties has produced a leasable base of approximately 5 million sq ft across Delhi and NCR, generating durable recurring income that backstops the residential development cycle. This discipline of ownership rather than transaction defines the brand's financial character.

The portfolio today spans residential townships, luxury group housing, affordable housing, IT parks, shopping malls, commercial office complexes, hospitality assets, serviced apartments, warehousing, and data centers — across Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh. Landmark deliveries include The Estate Villas and Estate Plots in Sector 63A Gurugram, Anant Raj Tech Park at Manesar, the Moments mall at Kirti Nagar in West Delhi, and Anant Raj Aashray affordable housing in Tirupati. A joint venture with Birla Estates — Birla Navya, an 800-floor township in Gurugram — reflects the group's appetite for large-format institutional partnerships. In FY 2024–25, total income rose 38 percent to Rs 2,100 crore, with profit after tax reaching Rs 426 crore.

Through its wholly owned subsidiary Anant Raj Cloud Private Limited, the group has extended its infrastructure mandate into the digital economy, targeting 307 MW of data center capacity across facilities in Manesar, Rai, and Panchkula — backed by partnerships with Google, Orange Business, BSNL, TCIL, and CSC Data Services India Limited. Anant Raj Cloud won the Best Innovation in Data Center Design and Infrastructure award at the Data Center Innovation Excellence Awards 2024, organised by Express Computer. A June 2026 MoU with the Haryana government commits Rs 25,000 crore toward data center and cloud services investment in the state. Now guided by the fourth generation of the Sarin family, Anant Raj continues to build from owned land, with a bias toward long-tenure assets rather than short-cycle projects.
